i just got a 1-10 chiller for my a.p 24,can this sit on the floor with carpet,also they say in manual to leave a foot of space all around chiller,this isnt going to work,unless i want it in the middle of the floor,iwa gonna put it next to aquarium stand front facing out and back a few inches from wall,this ok??

Yes, it can sit on the carpet.
The ventilation openings need to have adequate clearance for airflow. Provided air can flow freely from all ventilation openings, then I don't think the 1 foot recommendation should be a big deal.
I have my 1/5HP Artica sitting right against the stand, with the back about 6 inches from the wall. No issues.
