So I live in Hawaii and the temperature is on average 80 degrees all year round. Not bad for the body but hard on the tank. My tank gets up to 87-88 degrees around noon and stays there till almost 6pm everyday. I have two fans blowing on the tank and opened the back of the stand to allow more airflow but it hasn't helped that much. So I've decided to bite the bullet and buy a chiller and am between two brands but have never had any experience with chillers so not sure what makes a good one. I'm between
JBJ ARCTICA 1/5 HP TITANIUM AQUARIUM CHILLER
Or the
ECOPLUS 1/4 HP WATER CHILLER
The price difference is almost double for the JBJ but I don't see what makes it a better product. And theres other brands like the AquaEuro 1/4hp chiller that is priced in the middle of these two.
Anyone have any opinions on any of these products?
Thanks for the help
