i have a choc star and whenever i feed it it takes all day to eat a small amount of food is this normal

They eat as much as they need, or maybe it doesn't like what you're feeding him. CC stars aren't reef safe.

Thats normal for the cc starfish to take awhile to eat. You should only be feeding it once every couple of weeks. It will survive off of the algea in the aquarium.

I am about 99% sure that they eat meaty foods and not algae, id feed em, and again they arent reef safe so your other a;gae eaters like snails are simply not safe with a predator in the tank..

Yup they eat meaty foods. Like my snails

O'well that was a lesson to do research before you buy

Also they do take a long time to eat. If the food is too large, they expell thier stomachs to engulf the food, and digest it externally...Cool!
