Choco Chip * Feeding

I got a choco chip star and i feed it every other day about a 1/4" Square piece of squid (Told to by the LFS guy). Am i doing it right???

Yup, it's a good idea to spot feed a cchip star. You can also feed brine shrimp, krill, fresh store bought shrimp......

I've had one for 6 months and give him a piece of shrimp once a month - he seems to find enough to eat in the tank on the rocks and glass.

Average twice a week for ours. Get medium sized shrimp from
seafood counter. take home and clean up. Cut into about 3 and freeze. Thaw and give him a piece. He usually comes to the top and lays outward, we just lay a piece in the middle and he grabs it. He's quit the begger. :yes: If they are kept fed they shouldn't cause any problems. Natural predators and not reef safe. We love ours, very entertaining
