So i have one, and like a dummy i got him before doing my research. My LFS didn't really help me from what im reading. Nowi have had him for about 2 weeks now, and he stays on the glass and on the back wall, (hex tank) i have two anemones some soft coral, mushrooms, andsome polups. Now he seems to leave all this stuff alone, what do you guys think? Is this going to be a ticking time bomb or should i just play it out and see if he stays on the glass.

Mine are eating my snails. They don't eat them as often though when I keep them well fed. I don't have corals so can't answer that but it would make me nervous.

They should be spot fed to keep them from your other inverts, but make no mistake, they are predatory stars. What is the SG in your tank? You may want to take him back.
