choosing an eel

I was thinkin bout gettin an eel 4 my 75 gallon, but the thing is i want fish 2...I think the SNE looks pretty cool but i did sum research n I find different info on them:notsure: sum sites say that theyll eat my fish n another will say they only eat shrimp:confused: Can ne1 that has experience with this eel help meeh out???

It depends on what fish you want to get. So give us some more information about what other fish you're looking at. In a tank that big, most fish should grow large enough where a SFE isn't going to eat them.

I havent put ne fish in yet, bu if this eel does eat fish then i mite jus stay away from it then cuz sum of the fish i was thinkin of gettin r small fish

wat does this eel eat exactly? Will he eat clown fish? I was also thinkin that if i introduce him last into my tank he wouldnt bother my fish as much but then again i could be wrong

yea so ive heard. I went n bought sum egg crate n cut it out so that there r no ways 4 him 2 escape. The only way he may be able 2 escape is thro my filters
but im sure ill figure out how 2 cover them.

another question... r there ne other eels that i could possibly get that r reef safe??
Well technically no eel is "reef safe" by definition since they have a habit of knocking over LR as they get bigger, which is never good for a coral-covered reef, to have its structures continuously toppled.
However, if you're asking about other eels that are FOWLR and "reef fish" safe then yes, many eels if kept properly fed will not go hunting your reef fish.
