chromis schooling tank

i want to start a 20 gallon green blue reef chromis schoolig tank
how many chromises can i put in a 20 gal? no other fishes

Chromis can actually put some size on. I personally can't see more than 3-4 in a 20 gallon. Another thing to keep in mind is that these fish school as juvis, and for protection/safety. In a large tank with other fish, you'll notice more schooling behavior. If they aren't threatened, they will go their separate ways. In many cases, they will pick each other off in time too, so you might just end up with a pair when all is said and done.

i would say about 5-7 at the most Blue/Green Chromises don't produce much waste so you would be able to have more than you would for different fish!

I have 3 blue/green chromis' right now in my tank... what type of fish would keep these guys together in a group?? I want to add either a dwarf angel or a clarkii clown next... would these help??
Btw.. I have 2 juvis... 1 is small 1 is medium and then I have 1 adult... its obvious by the features of each. They all seem to get along pretty well.. every once and awhile there will be some chasing.. its usually the medium chasing the small one actually.
