Chuck eats first freezed dried Krill!! WOOHOOHOO

My Dwarf Lion, Chuck (named after Chuck Liddell), ate almost right out me hand yesterday! After one time charging the top of the tank for a piece of silverside last week, but missing it, he stopped coming near any offerings I put in. I kept trying, and also fed him some live brine shrimp which he stalked and ate lol. but he past few days I decided to dance some of these "Pink Can Shrimp" in front of him.....I seen him eyeballin' 'em for a few days everytime I did it. But yesterday I wiggled it around top like usual to get his attention, then let it drop once he was close and he went right to it and gobbled it up. I'm so happy to see him learning the schedule of the tank and actually recognizing me. These fish are absolutely NOT dumb by any means. Chuck knows whats goin' on!

I just got my first dwarf lion fish last night....I absolutely love him...I am going to do an entire tank of lion fish, some day, soon hopefully. They are fascinating. I am going to put it in the waiting room of my clinic, kids will go nuts! (And if they are nasty I can just 'feed the fish'...lol, just kidding. I saw some the size of soft balls and larger at an aquarium in florida once...too cool.
I don't think I'm ready to try and hand feed this little devil yet, still a fear factor there, don't want to get 'stung'. Mine eats like a pig, but he is absolutely the best thing in my tank. They are so beautiful.
