I might treat myself to a Hershey chocolate bar. They'll soon be made in Mexico so I think that counts.

Drink a cold Modelo or Dos XX and watch the spanish channel to try and figure out what they are saying. The more drunk I get the more I feel like I can understand them. Not to mention spanish chicks are hot!

I never liked the mexican beers. Tequillia yes, beer no

We don't have any Mexicans (as in people from Mexico) in our neighborhood. I don't miss the Sunday night parties one bit. Whats with that? The whole world knows you party on Friday or Saturday so you can recover on Sunday for work on Monday but the Mexicans always seemed to party on Sunday night.

Well the evening started off with a shot of Patron with a Corona chaser. Then I had to do go to a meeting and shopping. Finished off the night with a couple pints at my local hole in the wall though. Nothing too exciting.
In the words of Dickie Barrett from the Mighty Mighty Bosstones, "I guess I really don't know how to party."

So why do people in the US celebrate a Mexican holiday again?
You know what is really funny? it is a bigger deal here than in mexico. I don't know why you guys are complaining it is a good excuse to drink a couple adult beverages and eat fajitas or bbq at the park.

cico de mayo is a celebration of the battle of puebla, in which a tiny mexican militia defeated the invading french army. We celebrate it here because the mexican-americans decided to pick one holiday that symbolizes mexican heritage best and celebrate it annually.

hey i guess spanish class is good for something!

I actually went to mexico and asked if I could live there with free health care, a free education for my children,a license to drive without insurance,a job so I could give half to my parents back in the states. I also asked them to translate all
products in english so I would understand what I was buying. they just laughed beat me and thruogh me across the boarder and said know one is that stupid why that would ruin our economy
