Cincy Reefer You There?

Sorry to jump into this thread, but do any of you guys shop at Wetpets in Cincy? I come in from Indiana and do some shopping there. The guy there has tons of corals and some HUGE fish! Cincyreefer do you work at the place in Monfort Heights? I think I've been there too.

Sorry, but I was the one who brought up MTf Hghts. I know they have a "guy" raising their clowns and was just wondering. I do like that place though. They are very clean. Not a giant selection, but each tank has its own seperate water.
I don't know anything about Wetpets, sorry.

I've been to monfort heights. Nice place. I really like to shop at Wetpets when I come to Cincinnati. The guy there (don't know his name) is pretty honest. A bit rough around the edges but honest. He's been in business for at least 10 years so I think he knows his stuff.

No I don't work for Monfort or sell them clownfish... It is a great store though. Always willing to help, and great coral selection.
As far as Wet Pets... I'll have to refrain from comment on service and quality.

Cincy-did you have a bad experience at Wetpets? So far I've had pretty good service there. If you're talking about the owner I can see what you're saying. He is gruff, but seems to know his stuff. Do you know otherwise? I'd hate to continue to shop there if he's not knowledgeable.

kinda...... i wanted an anemone so i went and he told me i was not old enough to own one(im 14) and also when i walked in no one was in there no one asked if i needed help or anything....and wtach out for da prices:eek: :eek:

Really? The prices are posted on the tanks. It seems like he is being honest, but I guess I'll never know.
what did you say when you wanted the anemone? Did he sell it to you?

I can understand the part where he doesn't want little kids, err, I mean young teenagers to have animals with a higher care level because maybe of a lack of responsiblitiy. Many adults under estimate us because of our age. I am 14 yrs too, but you wouldn't be able to guess that from the info I give here, would ya? :joy: I think I have more knowledge of many parts of this hobby than some adults here, no offence though. :D

I have a job working as a petsitter for my neighbor. I don't do it often now, she stays home everyday now. Then I get money for good grades, and boy do I reel in a lot!

Well, I'm 14...Alot of um here...But I hate going to LFS in my area, they always look down on me, I usally bring mad dad to do the talking cuz he's getting into the hobby...Your 14 VIPER? WOW, I wooul've gone with 36 or suttin'
