circulating Rio pumps keep falling off

the suction cups just don't hold, every few days or so my rio pumps will just fall down and blow up my ls and disturb everything, it's driving me crazy. I often have to press the pump against the wall to ensure it's not going to drop again, but soon or later they all drop, some fall in angle that blow directly at my corals. My lfs puts rio pump on lr, but it looks kind of bad, and doesn't it cause vibration? Because these are Rio Pump, I am taking extreme caution in every step, after hearing so many bad things about them. How do you place your pump in tank?

Yeah the suction cup thing is VERY annoying.
My LFS sells new cups pretty cheap and I replace them ever 2-3 months.
I am actually thinking about finding/making some rock to prop them up and maybe hide them.
I hate waking up to find my tank a mess and a PH pointed at the bottom.
Rios aren't the only one with this problem either. The rubber just eventually rots.

Don't know if this will help with the RIO's,but my Haggens used to do the same thing. So I used a small clip that I screwed to the inside of the canopy. Then I attached the power cord to these clips with a plastic wire tie.The cord was pulled tight enough by this clip so that when the powerhead would drop away from the glass,it was held in place by the cord...An added tip,Pushing on the inside of a glass tank is like playing russian roulet(sp?)You can loosten the seal,or quite possibly blow out a seam...
