A minijet is just a small submersible pump to cause a current in the bottom of the tank. Mine is held on with suction cups. I paid around $13 at the LFS.

If youconfused to some of the acronyms as i was when I started to read these message boards, if you go into the NEW HOBBYIST board theres a bulletin (second one down i believe) Bulletin Board Acronyms I still have to check it out at times.
