what is the recomended g/h rate for a 12g tank. I have about 106g/h, should i upgrade or wait till flow is needed. for a fowlr tank

In a 12 gallon, I would shoot for 120-180 gph... jmo.

so i should upgrade even though there is nothing that needs the extra flow

If it's just a fish only tank, then you should be fine for now. But imo, you'll need the additional circulation once/if you add any corals.

yeah i will upgrade if i get corals but im sure that will be a ways off if ever

I think the key is also to not have dead spots ... so if you have no dead spots the nI would not worry about it for right now ....
