clam killer?

I'm upgrading my 14g biocube's lighting soon to a 150 watt sunpod.
I plan on getting a clam, 3" + so that I won't have to feed it. : )
I have a small pygmy angle though... and I'm wondering if those will more then likely eat a clam? I feed him well, and SWF only says "may pick at clams and worms." My LFS said he may pick at corals as well, it's just a hit or miss... He hasn't picked at anything but algae, so I was wondering if anyone had .02 on this?

My take is if you know there is a chance it will nip at the clam then the decision is do you want to chance it?

there is always a chance with dwarf angel. how mature is ur tank? how much liverocks? if u really like a clam, take a chance. also, feeding ur angel a wide variety of food will help also.

You can listen to anyone's advice on past experience... but when it comes down to it if the angel decides he wants to nip at any clam or coral he will.... some do, some don't.
If you do add a clam.. don't be surprised if you give your angel an expensive meal (or mad about it later if it happens).

I have a bluefin and it hasn't shown the least bit of interest in my coral. I just upgraded to a 250w MH and was wanting to get a clam. I would hate to get one just to feed a pygmy, though. What I would do, if I got a clam, is find another home for my bluefin, just to be safe.
