I am sure this has been answered before. But I want to ask. Are clams halide specific or is 13 watts per gallon of CF enough? thanks for your time.

What type of clam? Some demand more lighting than others, but 13 watts per gallon is an awful lot, lol
I have a Maxima in a 14G with a 24 watt 10K daylight PC and a 24watt actinic and it's growing like crazy!

No - They are PAR specific.

but all respond best to the brightest lighting or so and expert on clams stated at a forum i attended
