clam lighting

Just wondering... am upgrading my lighting to 192w, 10k daylight(96w),7100k actinic(96w). I have a 46 gal bow-front (36X18X20). Would this be enough lighting to support clam life? Also, any suggestions as to colorfull corals that would live happily within this lighting.
Any help would be much appreciated!

I second that. I wouldnot attempt it. Clams require nothing less than metal halides IMO.

Thanks for the replies! I read they needed alot of light, but wasn't sure if with the size of my tank, that 192 would be okay. I guess next to getting Halides, I'll pass on the clam.
Are there any soft (colorful) corals that would be "happy" under this wattage?

I have a 46 gal bow with 192 watts of PC. That tank currently has Branching Hammer (middle), Green Star Polyps (top/bottom), Cabbage leather (middle/top), Colts (bottom), Bubble (middle), button coral (top), Green Folded Brain (bottom), Mushrooms (all over), Fox (bottom), gorgonias, sponges, plate coral (bottom), xenia (middle)... all are doing fine. However, IMO these PCs really weaken if not replaced after about 11 months and my corals will reflect it. Keep your bulbs fresh and you will have no problems with almost all soft and LPS.
