Clam + Zebra Eel = ???

I have a Zebra Eel that is several years old now and about 4ft long. I want to get a nice looking clam but I am afraid my eel will try to eat it. This eel is very good with all other fish and coral. I highly recommend this eel for any fish only or reef tank but they love crustaceans and invertabrates. Anyone ever tried to mix these two together? I just dont want to go out and spend $40-$50 on a clam just to turn out as an expensive meal.

I thought anything that could fit into an eels mouth is fair game. I would just get a big clam and you should be ok.
