I would lke to get a clam but I'm not sure if I have enough light. I have a 75 gallon with a t5 fixture that has 2 54 watt 10000k's and and 2 54 watt actinic blues, also a power compact with 2 65 watt sunpaq bulbs. Is this enough light for a clam. Also the tank has been up for a year. :help:

Clams like intense light. I have 2 250 watt MH's and mine seem to be doing ok. I don't know if you have enough or not.

I would say you would be ok with a derasa, giga or squamosa IMO. Maybe croceas and maximas up very high, not sure with these.

I had a crocea in a 150 with 8, 54 watts and it was fine mid tank. I just put one in my 55 with just 4 T5's, so to soon to tell.
