Clarki Making a Popping Noise

Just curious to know if anyone has ever had a clown to make a popping noise with it's jaw. My Clarki is teritorial and when I approach the tank, he doesn't like it. I can hear him making a popping noise by shutting his mouth quickly. Has anyone else ever noticed this?

I think there was a thread about this a couple weeks ago. I don't remember if it was a clarki though. If I remember correctly, people were saying that it is common for some types of clowns.

My Clarki does this also. maybe a warning? Oh yea he/she bites too!
