Someone told me that they need a special type of annenome for a host what type would that be and I got the fish at the same time but one is at least 2x the size of the other but both seem healthy is that normal.

Welcome to the site.....Any hosting type species of anemone is OK for a Clarki. Just research what anemones need if you have not yet because they are not easy to keep.
Your larger clown is the female and they are naturaly dominant over the smaller male.

I have a few sets of Clarkiis and one pair accepted a LTA within minutes and another pair took to a BTA withing 12 hours . Make sure your tanks is well established before adding any anemone .
