I have a cuple of Clarkii clowns that have been sharing an anemone in my tank. Yesterday, I noticed that they apparently layed eggs on the rock above the anemoe. New to this, so can someone tell me what happens next, or what I should do? They are in a 210 gal tank with a number of other fish.
Nooo! No foodies... ;.;
I think that you have to buy a little hatchery tank thing... Scoop them out with the net...? Or there's something that's actually made for that, methinks.
CUTE BABIES OMG!!
Congrats............
A sure sign of a healthy and happy pair........
Probly too late to try and raise this batch because as Namine said, need to be prepared with equipment and special foods....
Best to read a book on raiseing clownfish and see if its something you really want to do.
Mine spawn regularly but I just let the fry become food for the tank. Does not bother the Parents.....I quess !!
Carefull putting your hand in the tank. They get very protetive with eggs and can bite.....

It's called a Net Breeder, just a small cubed net that you clip to the side of the tank and when they hatch they are safe from the filter and other fish in the tank!
You can get them everwhere, even at a ***** or Petsmart!!!
The breeding of clownfish requires a whole lot of equipment, time and tears. Go to the archives on this board and they have two, that I know of, threads in which people are raising clown fry.
It's been about 4 weeks since they laid their first batch and the other night I found a second group of eggs located on the clam right below the rock where they had laid the first batch. The second photo shows one of the parents fanning the eggs. They look like they should hatch anytime.
