clean tank glass inside

hea i have still from when i added my base, on my glass i have all the dirt or you could call it water dust on the glass..
could i take a clean rag and wipe down the inside of the glass to remove this film of dirt...

I wouldn't just to be safe. I have a new toothbrush that I have dedicated to the aquarium. They also sell items, such as mag-floats, that will do this job for you

ta getting my mag float this week in the mail.. with test kit..
so that will clean it sparkling clean..

i would get a acrylic one to be safe if you have a acrylic tank and you get a mag float for glass you will be mad to say the least. you will have scratches
i wouldnt go with a toothbrush cus it may be liek the spnoge.. sponges hve cheimicals on the from when you buy them and they may kill your whole tank. idk about the brush

have a glass tank so should be safe thank for the heads up...
and on the spong...

love my magnet cleaner. its not magfloat but another comp. It works great takes off allt he brown algae and stuff. Doesnt work well on coraline on the glass, need a razor for that
 
Will a brush designed for acrylic hurt a glass tank? I accidentally picked up the wrong brush at the LSF last night.
