Clean up Crew

O.k, I just talked to a lfs and they said for my 30 gal tank i only needed like 1 snail, a sand sifting star. What is everyones opinion of this???
I've had my tank up for 3 weeks and gone through the cycle, and now i'm ready for some cleaning crew and some fish.

You will probably want around 10 cleaner hermit crabs and 2 mexican turbo snails.

Hermits, Snails, Brittle stars, and if you desire one - a cucumber.
Dont get a sand sifting star.... if you want a good sand sifter then get a pistol shrimp or a goby that moves sand.

I don't like snails, they tend to die if you don't have enough algea growing.
How much lr do you have? Brittles like lr, so do most inverts.
You can get more than 1 snail and a star. Check out the packages here or select inviduals you like. Shrimp are cool, some crabs are cool.
Figure out what fish you want first. Some fish like to eat inverts.
