Clean-up crew

So, I'm currently converting my community reef into a more aggressive set-up with a Valentini Puffer and a Fuzzy Dwarf Lion as the main attractions. My biggest concern is the clean-up crew! Puffers especially tend to make meals out of snails/hermits/shrimp. So what other options are there? A very large conch? I'm afraid a large hermit might attack a fish... Have conches been known to do that also?? What do you all guys/gals do for clean-up crew?

As long as the hermits have adequate food they shouldn't be snatching fish, in fact they are mostly too slow to do so unless the fish is very ill and laying on the sand bed.
