NO CRABS
even those really tiny micro crabs. seahorses are slow, and may somtimes be hitched near the ground, and crabs, of all sorts and sizes, have been known to damage there skin and nip at them.
i would stick with snails. maby a cute little conch =p

No...this isn't entirely true. I decided that in my seahorse tank, I wasn't going to add hermit crabs into that clean up crew, but I have had 3 emerald crabs in with the horse with no problem. I'm also going to add 1 or 2 skunk cleaner shrimp in there eventually (when my little horses are a bit bigger). My other clean up crew consists of 10 nassarius snails, 6 astrea snails, and 2 rather large mexican turbos...they seem to do the job quite nicely.

Yeppers
The emeralds are herbivores, seahorses are definitely not on their menu.
