what kind of clean up crew can you use for an aggressive tank?

i have a niger trigger (he is awsome) or she i dont know how to tell the difference

ive heard it go both ways; i guess what i need to know is how do you keep the tank clean ie algae growth

unfortunatly i cant help because all of my fish dont eat my snails of crabs , people with triggers and puffers can hopefully help you out though

I have two triggers and a eel and so far nothing in the tank has eating the snails or the crabs. But i make shure i put large snails and crabs in the tank and keep everything well fed. also have a green serpent star.

what type of triggers do you have

Bluelined and a Bursa.

i would think that if you got the larger crabs and snails that they be able to fend for themselves.. it's worth giving a try at least! just keep the trigger well fed and it will hopefully leave them alone!
