cleaner clams eaten by emerald crabs

A few weeks ago I purchased the 30-90 Gallon
Reef Package from saltwaterfish.com and with the exception of the two cleaner clams everything else is doing really great as far as I can tell. Over the first several days I noticed the two cleaner clams would bury themselves in the sand and then work themselves up to the surface of the sand and then re-bury themselves a few times. And then one night I noticed on of the emerald green crabs feasting on one of the clams and then a few days later I saw the other clam being eaten by a emerald green crab. These cleaner clams were not expensive so I am not too worried about the loss. However, since I am new to the hobby I am just wondering if I should have done anything differently or if this is normal. Has anyone else had similar luck with the cleaner clams or does this sound like there was a problem with my setup?
Thanks in advance for any advice.

Cleaner clams die. Most are cooler water critters. The emeralds were probably just cleaning up.

Thanks for the feedback -- I was worried something was wrong with my system but it sounds like cleaner clams just do not last.
