Cleaner Clams

I bought two of them. One immediately burried himself in the sand and started doing hopefully what he was purchased to do; Clean! The other has not moved since I received him 5 days ago. Is this normal? If so how come the other one hasn't moved. Thanks for any helpful replys!

the second is probably dead. see if you can open it up. if you can, give it to your clean up crew for a snack.
