Cleaner Shrimp in Action

Well about 3 days ago, we purchased a cleaner shrimp. 3 days later he is a very busy little shrimp. He has set up a cleanin station under a mushroom, and has been cleanin all the fish as they swim by. Here is a couple of pics, while he is on the bannerfish.

haha, that is awesome, do the fish ever take him for a little ride around town or they just take a pit stop for him?

so far the little shrimp just hangs out right there in that area. The banner fish is the only one of my fish that hangs out there alot, my other fish come by and get a quick clean and move on. i am workin on getting a better picture of the cleanin action. The shrimp actually opens up the gills on the banner and picks stuff out of there. :happyfish

Yea mine does the same thing. Ive even seen him open up the mouth on my lyretail anthias. I thought he was a gonner when that happend :scared: .

I wish i had my camara today. I was at the LFS and there was a little cleaner in action, execpt he was sittin in the mouth of a very large moray. The site was very nice to see. The cleaner just cleanin away at that big ol dirty mouth.
