Cleaner Shrimp lifespan

Does anyone know how long cleaner shrimp usually last in captivty? I had a good size cleaner for appx 2 years that mysteriously disappered. My fire shrimp is healthy and the two never fought. I have a 75 gallon tank and the two split the territory down the middle.
Wondering if it was just "old age" or somthing else.

I've read 3-4 yrs in captivity. I would still say your's prob died of old age tho. sorry for the loss

I have had four and all lived around 3 years each. Just got another 3 and am expecting about the same.
