St what point is it good to add a cleaner shrimp? I have a fully cycled tank with 2 clowns and a royal gramma.
Thanks

Mine were the first things in... 2 cleaner, 2 banded and 2 peppermint...all have done great! I'm not sure if you are supposed to put two banded togather but mine stay out of each others way..the rest are buddies...just call me Noah..
You should be good to go..no problem that I would see!

every few days I "hand" mine about 1/8 or less of a cube of frozen formula 1 but they will eat anything they also like the F1 pellets.

my shrimp just loves feeding time for the fish, which is flake and a frozen mix. I also see him scrounging along with the rest of the cleaning crew.

Mine rarely can catdh a flake because of all the current and my SB Clown does a good job of eating it all before it can hit the sand. That is why I throw in a couple F1 pellets with the flakes, they will make it to the bottom quickly.

I may be corrected here..but, I wouldn't bother trying to search high and low for cleaner shrimp food. They will find alot of stuff to eat. Just about anything for food that goes into the tank has a bit of waste that finds its way to mine. I kinda crush up my Flake food for the clowns to eat, but always leave a few big flakes and the cleaners grab a piece and roll it into balls and play with it, eventually eating it. I toss in Mysis and Brine shrimp cubes every few days for a change of pace and the next day it's all gone, compliments of the cleaners (and others).. They seem to eat the extra, so I guess thats good enough.. for mine anyway...

well my shrimp got some food today lol he ate one of those bad pods(isopod i think). i found it in a rock and pulled it out to see what it was and i squeezed a bit to hard with the tweezers and he got killed but shot out from between the tweezers grippey thingys and i watched it for a bit to make sure it was dead... and when i went back up stairs to lok fot him again his shell was empty and there was my peppermint shrimp standing over him lookin at me like "look what i did and if you ever out ur finger in here again ill do the same to you" lol

Peppermints have always been to shy (so far) to come out when my fingers are in. My cleaners always check me out though..I can see em' but not really feel em'. The Bandeds are curious but never touch. I do have one BIG banded that was raised in another persons tank, and his body is the size of my thumb..He's a big talker though...never has the nerve to really give me a pinch..(so far)..He is the bull in a china shop, when it comes to clunking around the tank though..never really hurts anything, just makes everything retract for a few minutes..

i have
1 - Cleaner
1 - Fire
1 - CBS
4 - Pepps.
All do fine with each other, the only one that is out most of the time is the cleaner. The fire is NEVER out so don't buy one and the CBS is a loner and stays on the opposite end of my tank away from all the others.
