Cleaner Shrimp

Can I get cleane shrimps or any other type of shrimp for my FO aggressive tank. I have a Niger Trigger, Panther Grouper, Hawk Fish, Emperior Princess Snapper and a Lepard Eel. Also My Specific Gravity in my tank is 1.017

you can get some snails, but if you get crabs the trigger will break their shells if they have to get the crabs.

Did you ever try to out snails in an aggressive tank...I hard the Triger and puffer will eat um up..

i got some monster snails one time they were like an 1"1/4 and it took my trigger months to get them so i really got my moneys worth he couldn't hit them off the glass like the other smaller snails so he had toget them in the sand my hummu is about 3 in so try some big mexicans just a couple at first if it works it does but remeber it is a normal food in the wild for those guys

IF the trigger or puffer wanted the snail, they would get them. Either they will bite through the shell or knock them off the glass.
Your best bet is to use a test specimen snail and gauge their interest over a month or so. This is not saying they will develop an interest at a later date.
Make sure you introduce them at night in a safe spot.

good idea..I'll get a couple large ones..one question, will the snails scratch the acrylic tank?

I don't have an acrylic tank but I don't think a snail would scratch the sides.
If you get any puffers, then you need to be concerned about teeth scratching.
