cleaner shrimp

I have had a cleaner shrimp for a couple of months. It was very active and molted twice.
One day he was active as usual and feeding and two hours later he was dead. Any suggestions to why would help.

It's hard to say.
Can you post some tank parameters? Were you dosing iodine?

I dont know the parameters off hand but theyve been good. I have not put any iodine into
the tank

Changes in salinty can cause sudden death...but it would be very difficult to answer your question without specific information about your system.

I had a problem with high nitrates once and it killed all my shrimp.

I just asked about the iodine, because some people will think they need to dose it, and without checking the iodine levels in the tank, I've read it can become toxic and kill your inverts.
