Cleaner Shrimp

I just added a cleaner shimp last week. I have two fish Ebli Angel, Maroon Clown which have gott3en along great for months. Now the Angel has some tattered fins. He took to the shrimp right off the bat. Is this possibly from the shrimp. For a few days any time the angel would get near the shrimp he would jump on him and start cleaning. It was almost like he was waiting to ambush the angel.

I don't think it's the cleaner, I 've never heard of a cleaner doing damage to any fish. Most likely the maroon clown is nipping at him at night.

Fender is correct, cleaner shrimp is not dangerous to anyone or anything...

It's not the cleaner... are there any other signs of possible infection on the angel? I'm wondering if there's some parasite causing the tattered fins and the cleaner is trying to remove it.

No, not at this time. He shows no signs of infection or parasites. The fins seem to be healing after two days.
