I just bought a cleaner wrasse a week
ago and put him in my 3 gallon quarantine
tank for treatment before I place him
in my regular tank.
I feed him and he's been eating every
night for a week. just one hour ago
he started lying on the bottom of the
tank breathing heavily. the temp
is 77, ammonia and nitrite levels are
very low, salinity and pH are perfect...
whats wrong? I was told these fish only
eat parasites off other fish and if theres
none to be eaten they die?..is this true?
he appears to be eating, but I was curious if maybe he ate the food and spit it back out
looking for parasites? who knows? is this
