Cleaner wrasse possibly sick???

Hi, I'm not really sure if my cleaner wrasse is sick or not, just looking for some input. He's about 2.5 maybe 3 inches and has been in the tank since Feb. I feed the tank mysis and angelfish diet every other day and lately he hasn't been coming out to eat, for about a week now. Before he was the most active fish in the tank always swimming around, now everyday I'm looking for his corpse because i can't find him. He was out for a short while today so still alive but my boyfriend said he looks skinny. I did feed him Tues. after regular feeding time because he missed it and he didn't really seem interested in the food. Any ideas, I really don't want to lose this fish after I saved him in the first place.

Do you think he needs to eat parasites to suppliment his diet? I dont know anybody who has LONG term success with a CR and by long term i mean OVER A YEAR!

Okay no need to flame me for having a cleaner wrasse. I got him for free from my local pet store owner. Her fish guy sent her up two unasked for and one was doing fine, the other was starving, losing color and being constantly harassed by the healthy one. So she asked me if I would take it since it looked like it wasn't going to make it (this is a month after she got them). I didn't and would never buy a cleaner wrasse for my own pleasure knowing their survival rates in captivity, but I have one and am trying to keep it alive, thank you.

If that was directed at me I was not flaming you, just stating what I've learned on here.

Nope, person before you. Trust me I know they die in captivity. As all my fish have to be ordered online and overnighted here I as a rule only buy hardy fish. I can't afford to do otherwise.
