I'm looking for some advice on what critters to use in my tank to keep it clean. I dropped a dozen small blue legged hermits in my 100 gallon salt tank over the weekend, and my dragon wrasse thought they were snacks. Is there any mix you could recommend considering the following fish population: 1 dragon wrasse; 1 Naso tang; 1 blue tang; 3 clowns; 3 damsels; 1 ghost (?) gobie; 1 flame hawk? I had a medium sized hermit that did a great job, but every time I added a fish that was a bottom-dweller, he killed them, so I finally had to get rid of him.

I would add a dozen astrea snails and a dozen scarlet hermits. The astrea snails are much more hardy then turbo snails and the scarlet hermits are bigger then the blues so maybe they'll stand a chance.
