I know of shrimp and Neon Gobies. How many of each in a 100 gallon lr/ls tank with about 9 fish.? And what's your opinions of the best cleaners to have?
Thanks, I tend to favor the shrimp. Only five in a 100 gallon? I've heard some people say 1 cleaner for every gallon. That seems crazy if all those crabs aren't wanted.
the one cleaner per gallon rule is usually for clean up crew, meaning snails, hermits etc..animals that will eat algae, break down waste and such. As for fish clenaers i would agree with fshhub that about five would do. You could mix it up however you wanted. Maybe a pair of cleaners, a pair of peppermints, and a fire shrimp. That would add for a variety of tastes and colors in the tank!
good luck!

Hey, here's a question... When you have a huge clean up crew, all those snails and crabs, do they mess with your copepod population, if you're wanting a mandarin someday?
