Cleaning crew question?

I think you stumped the audience. I have been "told" that the clean up crew is use full but is just for help in some cases.Maybe some type of spiny urchin might work, but on the other hand they may just flip the poor thing over and then eat it. Sand sifting gobeys are great but they might not be aggressive enough for your tank. I am just throwing out random suggestions and I relay don't have a good answer. sorry.

I agree with Spanko.
Larger CUC members such as non-reef safe hermits, large turbo snails and larger urchins.

Great I knew someone would come up with something good.
I do vacuum the sand during water changes. And the only other thing im concerned with is with the large hermits. My buddy had one in his tank and it somehow got a hold of his lion and killed it( so he says). Anyone ever heard of something like that happening? Thanks for the info!!!!

I doubt a hermit would have killed a healthy lionfish. The fish was either dying or dead to begin with IMO.
