Cleaning Eclips Hood

Sorry I have little Exp with this filter sys. Can I pull the plug on it to clean the salt creap? Will this kill my bio wheel ? Sorry for the spelling But I am Part Blind.

It should not be a problem, the only thing to do is make sure that the wheel does not dry out, and NEVER rinse it with tap water.
Plus, if you have live rock in the tank, the biowheel may not be contributing much to the biological filter anyway.
No worries about unplugging it to clean
