I have some LR that has some hair alge on it. Can I Pull it out and use a toothbrush in a bucket of saltwater to clean it?
Thanks

Oooooh, I checked your profile and was wishing you had a bigger tank because a tang would eat it up in one day. But if you are talking about your 47g., that won't work.

You can do that, in a bucket of saltwater from your display. Pick up some Mexican turbo snails to keep it in check.

Agree with Sep about the snails. It's about all you can do to control future outbreaks. But even still, if it gets long and stringy you will have to cut it/pull it off by hand. The crabs and snails will only munch on it when it's short.
