cleaning new tank

just wondering what i should use to clean the inside of my new tank?i took it out of the box and it looks pretty dirty so i wanna clean it before i start.

water & a paper towel.

white vinegar and water also works well. Just rinse well after.

i thought about vinegar but if its a new tank there might not be any need for it. i doubt it can hurt though.

On that thought I would clean the tank thoroughly with a deluted bleach solution to kill off anything harmful that could be in it. Make sure to rinse out all of the bleach afterwards so you don't introduce anything harmful to your new tank as well.

Hey you are going to be using mag floats and razors after it's up and running - just wipe it out with a damp towel before you start! No chemicals needed!

Yeah if all you are cleaning is dust from the tank sitting arroung before you got it. A paper towel and water will be fine. No need for chemicals.
