what is the best way to clean the rocks and coral?

why would you want to clean you coral?
As for the rocks, are you wanting to clean them before you put them in or while they are in the water?
Before i put mine in i use a small scrub brush to remove any "dead" stuff from the rock. When they are in the water, they acummulate some junk, so i just used snail s and hermits to get that under control.

Well if they are covered in algae then I would first figure out what is causing the algae problem, but you can remove them and put them in a bucket of saltwater and use a new toothbrush and scrub them down.
