Cleaning QT

I'm going to be setting up a QT and have a 55 gal that was a freshwater tank. It has some blue stains on the clear sealant that is from an ich treatment, plus it has some hard water stains on the glass. I was going to use vinegar on the hardwater stains or maybe scrape it with a razor blade, but will their be any problems with the previous chemicals used to treat ich?

Thats a pretty big hospital tank! The "treatment stains" won't harm anything because you'll probably be doing more treatments down the road.
