When you clean your tank, or tanks, how many of you just clean the front and leave the sides? Is there any certain positives or negetives in leaving the sides.
I like to view the tank from the side also, but there is no other reason, it is all preference. I like to keep everything except the back scraped and clean
I clean all 4 sides. I like the reflection off the back & sides to be able to look at things. It's all personal preference. But.. if you have powerheads or anything that uses suction cups, you'll need to clean that area.
