What do you use to clean your tank parts. Either when they are brand new or when they are removed for cleaning? Yea I know that Ajax is not good but what is?

vineger, thats what i have always used, with no adverse affects, just rinse well, it even takes off the lime or calcium deposit if you use a razor blade

*NOD NODS* works good. Though you can use natural orange oil for tougher jobs too and it rinses out easily too.

I pretty much just use water and a brush. No chemicals. But if for some reason I need to use a cleaner, then I use bleach and really rinse very, very, very well. Most things can be cleaned with just water and brush.

I use bleach also, deluted of course, but its the best germ killer you can get thats safe for your tank. Always rinse and rerinse when using though.
