Cleaning water change equipment

I just started taking care of me neighbours tanks and was wondering if there was some sort of solution that I could make to dip my nets, hoses, pumps, brushes, etc in when going between the two tanks.

To do what? Disinfect?
Hmmm... a mild bleach solution will do the job, but it's a pain to have to rinse and sooner or later you'll forget or not completely rinse..

I'd use hot tap water. It's fast, cheap, and mistake proof. The residual tap water on the hoses and such should not cause any problems with the tanks, but if you are worried about it, heat RODI water on the stove.
