cleaning

ok im looking for a shrimp that will clean the rock and the sand. would the cleaner shrimp do the job? i have a 24 gal jbj nano tank and im putting together a cleanup crew and so far i have 5 blue leg hermit crabs then ima get like 5 turbo snails and some kinda shrimp.

Shrimp dont really clean sand/ rock (pepermint shrimp will eat aptasia off the rock, but not really clean it) Cleaner shrimp have there name because they clean parisites off fish. If you want something to clean rock/sand just go with some more snails, IMO ditch the hermits because they will probably eat some of the snails.

Nassarius snails are good for sand cleaning, they're nicknamed "sand sifter snails". They eat off the sand and keep it moving so it doesn't collect as much detris, leftover food, diatoms, etc.

i have a 24 gal do you think i should get 10 and i need somthing to clean the rock??
