What Is Beat For Cleaning A New Plastic Garbage Bucket In Preparation For Water For Water Changes? Thanx In Advance..walt

Well you can clean it with alot of a vinegar, once that is done rinse it alot i mean alot!!

I bought a used food grade 55 gallon plastic barrel (the blue ones) It contained soy sauce.
The smell was pretty overpowering, so all i did was rinse it with regular water and then added 2 cups of vineger, filled with water let it soak overnight (12) hours, then rinsed it three or four times, All is good no more soy sauce smell.

wash it with tap, make sure there's no dirt and debris in it, insert float valve, close it with a tight lid. You're good to go. Honestly, no need in rinsing with vinegar if the garbage can is new and clean and hasn't had anything in it.

thank you for the advise .i'll rag vinagar and rinse a few times till no more of the vinager smell is present . thanx again
