cleanup crew?

I have a 75g FO tank and I want to add a cleanup crew to it. I tried putting in turbo snails and some other kind and they all died. How long does ick medicine stay in the tank after you put it in? I think that is why they died. My two red leg hermits are still fine. I was wondering on starfishes and urchins. How much care do I need with them? Will they die too if there are still some ick medicine in the water?

What ick medication you use? Copper is difficult to get rid of and is extremly deadly to inverts.

I used clear ick. I'm not sure if it contains copper in it. I'll have to double check but I remember reading it saying that you should remove inverts. Maybe that's why they're all dead.

I would say thats it. Would have been better to use a hospital tank.
